Towards a 100% renewable energy electricity generation system in Sweden
The renewable energy share of total energy consumption has increased from 33% (in 1990) to 54.6% (in 2018), which is the top among the EU member countries. Renewable energy consumptions in some EU countries are shown in Fig. 1 [20]. The high share of renewable energy in Sweden is mainly contributed by hydropower and bioenergy.
