I was expecting this to cost us around 1.25-1.5L max (after subsidy) for a 3KW setup since the panel price per KW is down to 25-28rs/watt (25-28K/KW). Yes, the panels are all 440 watts, 23 in number. There was no subsidy involved, this was purely out of pocket. Haryana state gives solar subsidy only on basic polycrystalline panels, and only through a very limited number of installers. Tata Solar is not on the list.

Yes it is there on almost on all the panels, the panels are around 30 months old. One good thing is I have not seen any visible difference in generation based on the support app. For E.g: I was able to generate 12.54 units (average for 2020) and this YTD my panels are generating 12.48 units (average) for 3 KW setup.

In most solar installations, the solar Input/ouput is directly connected to the discom meter. that is because most homes don''t have a distribution block like this after the discom meter to terminate the solar wires. I have a 6kw deye hybrid inverter and 5kwh LFP battery pack. 6 kw solar panels.

This setup mainly has solar panels, inverters and a net-metering meter. It has no maintenance heavy components like battery, and the main components have a long life, the panels have a rated life of ~25 years and the inverters around 10 to 15 years. Only required maintenance is periodic cleaning of the panels to improve production.
