The RACM40-K has a 1.6" x 3" footprint as an open card with MolexTM connections or PCB Pins, or 1.8" x 3.2" as an encapsulated PCB-mount module. Operation is to 65°C at full load with convection cooling and 85°C with derating. A 2" x 3" version is available for legacy applications with a standard pin-out.

The Innoline series all use intelligent controllers that measure the output current on each switching cycle (Current Mode Control). If the output is overloaded, the converter will deliver the over-current until either the converter overheats and shuts itself down (thermal protection) or the load current exceeds the safe limits.
